2. Personal Information
The details which you provide about yourself and any information which identifies you (such as your name, address, email address) ("personal information") will be collected by us when you register to use the site under the terms of your agency's IPA membership, when you submit such information directly by filling in an online form, and when you browse, where cookies may be used. See paragraph 7 for how we treat other personal information when you use our Jobs On Line service. If you are a member of an IPA committee any information which you provide to us in that connection will be published on the site but will otherwise be treated as personal information as described in this policy.
3. Use of Personal Information
This information will be held on our system and used only for setting up and managing your website account and membership, and to make available to you all information relating to the IPA and its services. The information will be available to other members using this Site.
4. Protection of Information
We will not pass on your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law or by a regulatory or government authority to do so. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that you remain anonymous even though we include your IP address in our aggregate information. However, we can and will attempt to use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our terms and conditions, or to protect our services and other users.
On this website we use Sitestat, a Nedstat product, to measure and analyse information with respect to visits to our website. To that effect we use your IP-address to collect, among other things, internet traffic data and data regarding your browser type and computer.
In addition, cookies are used. A cookie is a small file that is stored on your computer when you visit a website. If you visit the website again it is recognized as a repeat visit by means of the cookie. The cookie contains merely a unique number and therefore no personal data. The cookie cannot be used to identify you on websites of third parties, including Nedstat.
6. How we protect information
We take every precaution to protect your information. To this end all personal information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. Only employees and approved contractors/developers who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Regular security reviews are held by us to ensure that the site remains safe and secure for your protection. We cannot guarantee the security of data you disclose online and you accept that the Internet is not completely secure and agree that we shall not liable for unauthorised use, distribution or destruction of your personal information.
7. Jobs On Line
If you submit your cv and/or details of availability for work as part of using our Jobs Online service, that information will be held and used as described in the Jobs On Line terms. Your cv will be accessible by other IPA Members but will not be passed in its entirety to any third parties unless we are required by law or by a regulatory or government authority to do so.
8. IPA Alerts
If you click an IPA Alerts opt-in box we will send you emails and mailings from us about our products or services. You can opt-out of IPA Alerts at any time.
9. Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If your personal information changes or if you no longer wish to subscribe to the service, we will endeavour to correct, update or remove the personal information provided to us as speedily as possible. This can be done by emailing Louise Rome at the IPA (firstname.lastname@example.org).
10. Users Under 18
If you are under 18, please ensure that you obtain your parent/guardian's consent beforehand whenever you provide personal information to the website. Users without such consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
